Middle Camp

What a wonderful time Middle students enjoyed on their 3-day camp to Phillip Island!

The schedule was packed over the 3 days, and included:

- a visit to The Nobbies on Phillip Island,

- a visit to the Penguin Parade at night,

- a morning at Cowes Beach,

- a talk from a local Park Ranger about the local ecosystem

- a stop at San Remo on the way home to see the pelicans being fed.

At The Island campsite, we participated in four awesome activities - Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Archery and Mechanical Wall. Pushing ourselves to the limit and experiencing new things were a major focus, as well as reflecting on our achievements and discussing the great sense of pride we took from accomplishing all that we did.

We ate lots, enjoying a range of beautifully prepared meals, morning and afternoon teas and supper. We also had plenty of free time, where we could play on the manicured oval, bounce on the trampoline or hang out in the hall playing pool, table tennis or simply just hang out.

A big thank you to the students for their excellent attitude and behaviour while on the camp. They were outstanding role models for our school the entire time away with their manners, support of each other and positive approach to every challenge that came their way.

A super thank you to our wonderful staff who prepared thoroughly for the camp to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience was had by all.

Finally, thank you also to our parents for your support of our camping program. These activities are an important part of building independence, trying new things and interacting with peers and adults in a different environment, and are always fondly remembered in future years.
